Beach Volleyball Ends First OVC Weekend


CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Eastern Illinois seaside volleyball (-5, -4 OVC) ended their weekend at the UTC Athletics Complex with 4 tough fought matches at the 1st of two Ohio Valley Meeting Weekends.

Eastern ILLINOIS 0 – 5 MOREHEAD State

In their opening match on Saturday, the Panther dropped all five duals in difficult sets. Jap Illinois shut the gap in all sets but fell just short of their 1st victory of the year.

All through the No. 1 pairing with Christina Martinez Mundo and Tori Mohesky, they dropped a shut two set match with scores of 12-21 and 17-21. It marked the pairs to start with quantity one pairing jointly on the time.

The Panthers claimed their 2nd twin earn of the weekend as Kaitlyn Flynn and Sylvia Hasz gained their next twin of the season as companions. In the range two pair dual against Chattanooga, EIU would fall the very first established 19-21 ahead of battling again to claim victory with scores of 21-19 and 15-13.
